Al Muraqabat is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in the heart of East Dubai in Deira, Al Muraqqabat is surrounded by the areas of Al Rigga, Al Mutina and Al Khabisi. Many popular landmarks in the area include Fish Roundabout, Al Ghurair City, Reef Mall and Hamarain Bank. The locality offers apartments, hotel apartments, residential buildings, offices, shops, warehouses, commercial buildings and showrooms. As a residential area, it has the third highest population density in the city of Dubai. The area is bounded by Route D 88 to the north and Route E 11 to the south. Al Muraqabat Road divides the area into two sub-sections, the western part of which is predominantly residential, while the eastern part is more commercial, with banks, hotels and restaurants located in it.
It is a mixed-use area that is close to several motels, shopping malls and eateries. There are many hotels in the community, such as the Asiana Hotel Dubai, Lavender Hotel Deira, Excelsior Hotel, JW Marriott, Ibis Dubai Al Rigga and Coral Dubai Deira. There are many restaurants, banks and shopping centers in the neighborhood. Characteristic of the grid plan, its eastern side is commercial, while its western part is mostly residential. Reef Mall, Deira City Centre and Burj Nahar Mall are some of the top malls nearby the locality. The Dubai Museum is a notable vacation spot. The Gold Souk is the biggest gold market in the world and has 300 shops. Al Mamzar Beach gives gorgeous views of the Dubai beach and is a perfect place to relax. Jumeirah Public Beach is an excellent beach that offers many dining options and watersports.
The community provides access to public transport in Dubai. Residents can walk to Union Metro Station or Al Rigga Station to get to different parts of the city.
