Al Dhagaya is a locality in Dubai, UAE. Located in Deira in East Dubai, Al Dhagaya is part of Dubai's northeast coast along the Persian Gulf. It is located near the Deira Corniche and is surrounded by Al Barha, Al Ras, Al Sabkha and Ayil Nasir. One of the populous residential areas of West Deira, it also has a major economic district with souks and traditional markets. The locality consists of both commercial and residential properties. The mixed-use area comes with various sectors for industry, residential, commercial, business and entertainment purposes. It primarily features mid-rise apartment buildings with a choice of shopping centre’s, retail outlets and offices. Dubai Spice Souk and Gold Souk are located in the heart of the locality. The northern periphery of Al Dhagaya lies along the Dubai Corniche; The Al Shindagha Tunnel, which connects Deira with Bur Dubai, runs through the northern bank of Al Dhagaya.
